Specialist Appointment with Mark Ward

We managed to get Taylor into see Mark Ward quite quickly due to a cancelled appointment. He had a look in her ears and confirmed the GP's diagnosis that it looked to be glue ear. He recommended that the insertion of some grommets would sort this out and that he could do it in the next 2 weeks for $2,000! or we could go on the public waiting list.

As Taylor is not covered under our medical insurance, we decided that we would have to go at mercy of the public system. The specialist did say that he would put it as urgent, so the wait would hopefully only be 6-8 weeks. Although this was not ideal, we felt ok with our decision to go this way.
